About the role

The Michael von Clemm Fellowship enables exceptional Oxford undergraduates to spend an academic year at Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as a Special Student, pursuing self-directed study or research across the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Fellows receive full tuition coverage, travel support, and a living allowance, positioning them as ambassadorial representatives of Oxford at Harvard.

What you’ll do

  • Pursue a course of study or research at Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as a Special Student
  • Apply to and register at Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
  • Serve as an informal ambassadorial representative of Oxford at Harvard

What they’re looking for

Open to Oxford undergraduates from all academic disciplines who will be entering their final year in October 2026, or those who completed their degree in June 2026 or June 2025. Applicants must have obtained or be expected to obtain a First Class degree and possess strong personal qualities. Not intended for those wishing to study vocational subjects such as Business Administration or Law.
