About the role
As Assistant Butler at St Catherine's, you will join a dynamic team acting as the primary point of contact for Fellows and providing table service in the Senior Common Room (SCR). You will plan, oversee and supervise events, and during out of term-time, assist with food and beverage service in the dining hall and other College areas. The role offers opportunities to develop skills through Butler training and wine qualifications, with a focus on delivering outstanding service and presentation.
What you’ll do
- Act as primary point of contact for Fellows
- Provide table service in the SCR

- Assist in food and beverage service in the dining hall during out of term-time
- Assist with service in other College areas
What they’re looking for
Applicants should have a strong customer focus and keen eye for presentation. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Passion for outstanding service and drive to develop are essential.
