What you’ll do
- Oversee day-to-day operation of the Conference and Events Office
- Act as principal point of contact for College dining and events
- Work with students, Fellows, staff and external clients to plan and deliver events to high standard
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with clients
- Maximise use of College facilities and contribute to increased commercial income
- Manage events from initial enquiry and planning through to delivery
- Handle financial administration related to events
- Conduct follow-up after events
- Lead and support staff
- Manage competing priorities and respond to changing circumstances
What they’re looking for
Candidates should have significant experience managing conferences, events, hospitality or commercial operations in a customer-focused environment. Experience with Oxford collegiate system, higher education or heritage venues is advantageous. Experience with event marketing and systems such as Kinetics and University Rooms is desirable.
