About the role

An Associate Professor (or Professor) in Mathematical Physics at the Mathematical Institute with a Tutorial Fellowship at Hertford College. The successful candidate will lead research in mathematical physics at international standard, supervise research, obtain funding, teach mathematics across multiple topics via lectures, classes and tutorials, and engage in outreach activities to support diversity goals in undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment.

Successful candidates must have a PhD in mathematics or physics and a record of outstanding research in mathematical physics. Expected to teach effectively across a range of topics in mathematics and complement, enhance and diversify the Mathematical Physics Research Group.
